PVF Energy Services Inc

PVF Energy Services Inc. are a consortium of Engineers and Consultants providing  Engineering, Procurement, and  Construction(EPC) services to the oil and gas industry in eastern Canada.  This includes engineering and  project management in drilling vertical, horizontal, and sidetrack wells. Completion, work over programs and procurement services also provided. PVF provides engineering in all disciplines for operators/clients working closely with their engineers to communicate effectively to ensure that all expectations are being met. The result is a project delivered safe, on budget, and on schedule under the highest level of HSE standards. All NL Professional Engineering services are provided and managed by Mr. Hubert Alacoque P. Eng.

Drilling engineers review offset well data and current drilling practices to optimize drilling projects.  In the initial planning stage, PVF provide permit and AFE estimates.  PVF also provide casing, cement, mud, and directional plans for permitting and the drilling prognosis and also assist in rig selection and negotiation of drilling contracts.  To minimize well costs, our emphasis is on drilling the most cost efficient well by reducing the number of drilling days.

During drilling operations, PVF provide wellsite supervisors with more than 25 years’ experience. We provide daily drilling reports and hold morning meetings with all engineering disciplines, HSE, drilling management and the operator/client. PVF work closely as a team with all onsite personal to provide recommendations on trouble situations such as stuck pipe, sidetracks, lost circulation, and fishing operations.

PVF also provide completion, workover, and abandonment services to our clients, offering a great deal of experience and skill. Our team has successfully abandoned many difficult leaking oil and gas wells drilled 80 to 100 years ago. Some of these wells were located in water such as rivers, ponds and lakes. The group brings a wealth of knowledge in well completions, servicing, and troubleshooting.

PVF are also a supplier of oilfield drilling, completion, workover, and production equipment. PVF have a warehouse in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador and a storage yard in western Newfoundland. Products include downhole equipment, pipe and casing, valves and fittings, pressure vessels and pumps, and the rental of surface equipment. PVF are a full service provider to the exploration and oilfield development industry.
